OK, I know we say this about every Soundstage event, and we mean it every time...what an honor. But this one - Sir Tom Jones - he took it to a whole new level.
Ever the consummate professional, he rehearsed in the space for two days. And there was no diva attitude here - he shook everyone's hand and smiled gracefully for pictures. He took his time on stage, and made sure there wasn't a weak moment in his set.
He moved my soul. And when he brought in Alison Krauss on stage, you could've knocked me over with a feather.
