December 12, 2015: Face the Future
As the holidays approach we’re reminded of how much we have, and how much we have to give. Matt and I are honored to photograph the Face the Future Foundation’s annual Craniofacial Christmas Party for the third year in a row. This organization’s mission is to transform the lives of Chicago-area children with cleft palate and craniofacial anomalies by enabling access to state-of-the-art medical care and by supporting related research and education.
Every year, the board members of this awesome foundation host a party for patients and their families. Entertainment is top notch - kids are welcome to decorate cookies, create their own ice cream sundaes, participate in an array of arts and crafts, get their faces painted and receive balloon animals, and even enjoy a special performance by the Gus Giordano dancers. Afterwards, every family is invited to take their picture with Santa and receive a special Christmas present.
It’s such a touching and inspiring event. Below are some of our favorite pictures. To see how you can get involved, please visit: http://facethefuturefoundation.org
If you like what you see, please let others know - thank you so much!
